FAQ

What is the importance of great hand hygiene?

Keeping hands clean is one of the most important steps we can take to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others. Many diseases and conditions are spread by not washing hands.

Why use hand sanitizer?

When soap and water are not easily available, hand sanitizers provide an easy and portable way to keep hands clean throughout the day. Hand sanitizers are great for many environments including offices, schools, hospitals, airports, factories, travel, home, and are great to keep on you at all times during your daily commute.

Why is there alcohol in sanitizer?

Alcohol is used as the active ingredient in hand sanitizers as it has been proven effective in reducing the number of microbes on hands. Alcohol helps kill harmful germs and bacteria.

What alcohol % should I look for?

CDC (Centre for Disease Control and Prevention) recommends using a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol to help avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others.

How do I use hand sanitizer?

Dispense a small amount of hand sanitizer gel into the palm of your hand and rub both hands to evenly spread the hand sanitizer. Keep rubbing until hands are dry. For spray sanitizer, spray the formulation into the palm of your hand or directly onto hands and rub them together thoroughly. Do not rinse or wipe off sanitizer before it's dry.
